Evans School Ranked in Top Ten By U.S. News and World Report

In the newly released U.S. News and World Report rankings of graduate schools of public affairs, the Evans School is ranked ninth out of 266 schools of public affairs and fourth among public universities.

This is a jump of five spots from 2008’s overall ranking of 14th, and 17 spots from 2004’s overall ranking of 26th.

The Evans School has also been recognized for its expertise in the areas of Nonprofit Management (ranked third), Environmental Policy and Management (ranked fifth), Public Management Administration (ranked 11th), and Public Policy Analysis (ranked 13th).

“This is a substantial achievement for the Evans School, a result of our stellar faculty, the growth of a top-notch Ph.D. program, driven and high-quality students, and hardworking staff,” said Evans School Dean Sandra O. Archibald.

Schools of public affairs are ranked every four years, and rankings are based on the results of a peer assessment survey.
